Windows 7 Computer:
1. Run regedit.
2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
3. Create a DWORD (32-bit) value "LmCompatibilityLevel" under Lsa
4. Set the value to 1
5. Quit regedit
6. From RUN Command Line, type gpedit.msc and click ok.
Under computer configuration, windows settings, security setting, local policies, security options. Look for LAN Manager Authentication Level.
Set it to SEND LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated. Click OK and close.

7. From RUN Command Line, type “gpupdate /force” and click OK. Or reboot…
